RSM UX Redesign Ben Newbolt

Bridging Legacy Systems and Brand Evolution with Scalable UX Design

Highlights

✔️ Refreshed brand experience within strict CMS and budget limits

✔️ Designed 12 reusable templates powering 150+ pages

✔️ Data-led content strategy and mobile-first UX

✔️ Enabled better governance and future platform evolution

Problem Statement

RSM had rebranded globally but their website lagged behind—constrained by outdated CMS infrastructure, limited development flexibility, and rising user expectations. High-traffic areas like News and Blog were difficult to navigate and update, failing to reflect the new brand’s ambition or serve mobile users effectively.

Solution

Working within rigid tech constraints, I delivered a scalable, component-based design system and responsive UX overhaul—prioritising high-impact templates and data-informed design decisions. By aligning user journeys with CMS realities and enhancing mobile content interaction, the project elevated the brand experience without requiring a rebuild. Strategic engagement with stakeholders unlocked buy-in for future evolution, proving the value of UX even within constrained environments.
